Introduction

Our Guest House is situated on the Esplanade in the lovely town of Weymouth, Dorset and is half way along the Esplanade opposite the Queen Victoria Clock Tower which is a landmark for visitors to Weymouth. Our Guest House was built between 1790 and 1796 and was originally row of Terraced Houses before being turned into Guest Accommodation in the last Century.
We are situated on the beautiful Jurassic Coastline that runs along the Dorset coast line

Main Entrance & Reception

• There are four steps up to the hotel from the pavement outside. There are wrought iron railings on both sides if assistance is needed. There are two door bells to the left of the outside and inside front doors so it is best if both door bells are pressed to make sure you are heard.

Public Areas - General (Internal)

• Once through the glass front door there is a small corridor which leads to theright the Lounge cum Restaurant with a small bar in the corner of the lounge. This corridor also leads stairs to the guest accommodation as well as Room 1 which is on the ground floor apart from two steps down then two up.

Public Areas - WC

• We have one WC for guests to use that is not in the bedrooms and that is between the 1st and 2nd floor which is some 24 stairs but they are not narrow and not steep.

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe

• Our Restaurant faces the back of the hotel and seating is individual tables to give guests privacy if required. We serve breakfast and evening meals but if guests prefer lunch to evening meal we are only too happy to assist. We have a small bar in the corner of the lounge which is an 'honesty bar' and to which guests help themselves to drinks and then write the details in a book on the bar. The amount is then added to their account upon departure. The Lounge is sea facing and has comfortable leather settees and chair with large and small coffee tables for our guests. Guests can come and go as they please and there is a TV in the Lounge area just in case anyone wishes to watch their favourite programme. We are fully licenced for the sale of alcohol to guests only.
